Teresita Dennis has a BA in Fine art and Critical Theory at Goldsmiths and MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art. She is a Senior MA Tutor at City and Guilds of London Art School and has exhibited in the UK and Europe.

At the heart of her work is an exploration of haptic knowledge and its correspondence, or otherwise, with language. A significant aspect of her practice is concerned with maintaining the territory of the work as an approach, rather than an arrival, towards language, whilst resisting an equivalent conclusion – representation, in painting. She makes direct and physical contact with the surfaces she works with, developing processes and strategies for creating and leaving traces that result from her body in movement.Teresita lives and works in London.
